CAT operates mobility services in Dauphin County, Cumberland County, and the city of Harrisburg. To provide our services, we rely on a broad range of businesses and contractors who work with us through the procurement process. The goods and services we purchase, ranging from office supplies to buses, are crucial to providing safe, reliable and economical transportation for our customers.

CAT is committed to providing a full and open competitive environment for procurement opportunities in conformance with local, state and federal regulations. CAT solicitations are issued as Request for Proposals (RFP); Invitations for Bids (IFB); or, Request for Quotations (RFQ) depending on the type of goods or services.

Guidelines and procedures for all procurements are contained in the bid documents at the time of solicitation. CAT encourages small businesses owned by minorities and women to pursue contracts to compete for CAT business.

Request for Quotes

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba SRTA is requesting Quotes for the services described as follows. The Authority will receive Quotes related to costs necessary for the Annual Maintenance, scheduled, and unscheduled repairs of Fire Suppression equipment located in Harrisburg, and York, PA. The organization serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties. This solicitation covers the Dauphin and York locations.

All quotes and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the SRTA.

All costs incurred by those who wish to submit quotes in the development of their quotes in responding to this RFQ are the sole responsibility of those submitting quotes. No such costs will be reimbursed by SRTA. Furthermore, those who submit quotes must not include such costs as part of their costs to perform any work described in this RFQ.

Quotes must be submitted on forms as provided by SRTA. Quotes submitted in any other form or in any manner not specified by SRTA will be rejected as nonresponsive.

20221027 – Fire Suppression System Maintenance and Repair RFQ

 

 

SRTA hereby notifies all Quoting Firms that in regard to any contract entered into pursuant to this RFQ advertisement or solicitation, disadvantaged business enterprises (DBE’s) will be afforded full opportunity to submit quotes in response and will not be subjected to discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex or national origin in consideration for an award. The Authority reserves the right to postpone, accept or reject any and all quotes and to waive any informality in the RFQ process as the Authorities deem in any of its own best interest. Quotes received after the specified closing time will be considered late quotes and will not be evaluated for award. Misdirected submittals will not be accepted.

 


 

Request for Proposals—Uniform Supply

The Susquehanna Regional Transportation Authority (SRTA), dba rabbittransit is requesting Proposals for the services described as follows. The Authority will receive proposals related to the supply of clothing items for six-hundred (600) employees in twelve (12) employee tier classifications,  embroidery services, and the collection, cleaning, and delivery of certain uniform items. While the organization serves and maintains locations in Adams, Columbia, Cumberland, Dauphin, Franklin, Harrisburg City, Montour, Northumberland, Perry, Snyder, Union and York Counties this solicitation will specify uniform cleaning at the Cameron Street, Harrisburg and the Zarfoss Drive, York locations.   The Contractor will be required to provide shipping services to residential areas as specified.

All proposals and contracts are subject to all applicable Commonwealth and Federal laws and to a financial assistance contract between the Federal Transit Administration (FTA), the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) and the individual agencies of listed herein.

All costs incurred by proposers in the development of their proposals in responding to this RFP are the sole responsibility of the proposers.  No such costs will be reimbursed by either agency or any individual agency involved in this joint procurement.  Furthermore, proposers must not include such costs as part of their cost proposals to perform any work described in this RFP.
