Title VI Program Update
Capital Area Transit is in the process of updating its Title VI Program and is seeking public comments and suggestions on the proposed standards. The Title VI Program is based on the requirements of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, which provides that “no person in the United States shall, on the ground of race, color, or national origin, be excluded from participation in, be denied the benefits of, or be subjected to discrimination under any program of activity receiving Federal financial assistance.” A full copy of the document can be reviewed here.

Capital Area Transit will hold a public Hearing on its Title VI Program on March 31, 2013, at 12:00 noon in the CAT Board Room located on the 2nd floor at 901 N. Cameron Street, Harrisburg, PA, 17101.
