Shared Ride is bus service that provides consolidated trips between customers’ origins and destinations that are not well served by scheduled route bus service. Often referred to as “Paratransit,” Shared Ride operates during limited hours and specific travel areas. There is a required application and reservation process. The Susquehanna Regional Transit Authority People With Disabilities Advisory Committee (SRTA PWDAC)

The People with Disabilities Advisory Committee (PWDAC) and Transportation Partnership on Mobility (TPOM) groups are becoming one! Capital Area Transit and rabbittransit will be holding a Susquehanna Regional Transit Authority People With Disabilities Advisory Committee (SRTA PWDAC) meeting on the third Wednesday of every month from 10:30AM-11:30AM and will be open to all counties served by Capital Area Transit and rabbittransit. The group will meet to discuss solutions for issues related to local and regional public transportation. All individuals with an interest in public transportation needs are welcome and encouraged to attend to join us in improving mobility services in Central Pennsylvania.
